Obedience Classes
Puppy Class
This is the basic developmental course for dogs twelve weeks to six months in age. This course fosters a positive working relationship between puppy and owner while providing an introduction to obedience work with fun exercises designed for puppies. Puppies are taught games that will help them to come when called or walk on a loose lead instead of dragging you down the street. Along with the basic obedience commands like sit, lie down and stay, owners are taught how to encourage their puppies in healthy ways to make learning obedience fun! Puppies develop a sound foundation for doing stays and other more advanced exercises. Owners also learn other useful day-to-day skills and ways to prevent many common problems are also covered in this class. The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Evaluation is given at the end of this class.
